We are looking forward to the upcoming school year.  Please anticipate communications via email and phone calls regarding student progress and annual/triennial IEP meetings. If your child is due for a triennial (every 3 years students are evaluated to determine eligibility), case managers will be sending home a packet for parents/guardians to review, provide feedback, if any, and sign for authorization. For annuals, case managers will call to set up meetings and send home a meeting notice for calendaring purposes.  If you ever have concerns about schedules, workload, or anything pertaining to the IEP, please feel free to contact your child’s case manager by calling or emailing.

All students will be building skills in the area of reading and writing through different English/Humanities classes offered next year.  We will continue utilizing Go Math 7 and 8 in the ED, RSP, and collaborative classes, which will give the students the skills needed for Math 1 in high school. In Science, the students will have life science in 7th grade and physical science in 8th grade. Please review the course description that each teacher will send out at the beginning of the year for each of their respective classes.  We look forward to meeting our new incoming 7th grade students and are eager to welcome back our 8th grade students!  We are excited for the upcoming 2017/2018 school year!
