Jump Start is a multi-day experience for incoming 7th grade students. Those students are provided the experience of a simulated middle school day prior to the start of the school year. Jump Start is a fantastic way to prepare your student to transition to the middle school environment. Jump Start this year is for incoming 7th grade students only.
During Jump Start sessions, students will attend four class periods per day (Advocacy, Math, Science/PE, and Humanities). They will also have a lunch period so that their experience mimics a typical day here at Elizabeth Pinkerton Middle School.

- Jump Start is usually scheduled the first few days of August.
- Space is limited: Registration forms will be processed in the order received.
- You will receive confirmation of enrollment by mid-July.
- Students are expected to be present during both day of the program.
- Students will travel to an assortment of classes giving them a broad view of the campus, procedures and expectations during a school day.
- Lunch will be available.
- Students are expected to follow normal school rules and procedures.
- Transportation to and from Jump Start is not provided.
