Whether you are returning to our pack from last year or joining our school community for the very first time, we are so excited to welcome you to the 8th grade! As the leaders of the school this year, you have a fantastic opportunity to set the tone, crush your goals, and make this your best year yet.
To help you crush the 8th-grade slump and prepare for the high school transition ahead, here is our ultimate checklist for success:
- Show Up & Shine: Attend school daily. Every day counts, especially as the material gets more advanced.
- Speak Up & Engage: Actively participate in all your classes. Your voice and ideas matter!
- Master the Chaos: Stay organized and keep your backpack tidy.
- Track Your Tasks: Use your agenda or planner every single day so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Lock In Those Grades: Thoroughly complete your homework and turn it in on time.
- Own Your Progress: Check Synergy daily to track your grades and stay on top of your assignments.
